SERVING OUR COMMUNITY FOR OVER 150 YEARS

Built in 1870, the hall has served as a hub for social activities for Duart and the surrounding area for over 150 years. Originally built for $900 as a town hall for Orford Township, it transitioned into a community center for dances, banquets, plays, bridal & baby showers, wedding receptions, variety shows and auctions. Our dedicated volunteers hope to continue the legacy of providing a place for our small community to thrive and come together to help and support one other for generations to come.

CERTIFIED

It's important to us that we take our commitment to the community seriously. Our renovated kitchen has been approved by the Chatham-Kent Health Unit for all of your special events.

CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION

Did you know that we are a charitable organization? Everything we do in our community center is organized, fundraised and maintained by our local volunteers!  If you would like to donate financially, we will gladly issue you a charitable tax receipt for this. Perhaps instead you would like to volunteer your time to help out at our community events? If interested, please contact us by email or phone for further information on how you can help.
